Every figure below comes from sale transactions registered with the Dubai Land Department and dated inside April 2010. Mortgages and gifts are excluded; the register's own record of a sale is the only source.

The Land Department registered 2,908 property sales in April 2010, worth AED 6.09B in total, across 56 communities. That is 66% fewer than the same month a year earlier.
The median sale was AED 852,572 at AED 801/sqft, 12.1% below the same month last year. 26% of sales were off-plan.
Al Thanyah Fifth was the busiest community with 712 registered sales, while Marsa Dubai took the most money at AED 2.09B.
Against the previous month, Al Hebiah Fourth rose 82% to 374 sales, while Al Thanyah Third fell 88% to 78.
